Ingredients

Suma nut roast mix, 1 portion prepared as per instructions then cooled

1 tbsp
tomato puree

1 tsp
smoked paprika

1 tbsp
sage
-
Salt & pepper
-
1 sheet
ready rolled vegan puff pastry

Plant-based milk or olive oil

Sesame or poppy seeds
Optional

Caramelised onions or grated apple for sweetness
Method
- Prepare the nut roast according to packet instructions and let it cool.
- Mix with tomato puree, herbs, seasoning and optional extras. It should be firm but pliable.
- Cut pastry into long rectangles 10–12 cm wide.
- Shape the filling into a sausage down the centre then fold the pastry over and seal the edge with a fork.
- Slice into mini rolls then brush with milk or oil and sprinkle with seeds.
- Bake at 180°C (fan) for 20-25 mins.
