Darker roasted this is a very smooth full bodied coffee with great character and depth of flavour. Excellent for espresso. Grown by Sumatran co-operative KBQB which has around 6 500 farmer members. KBQB is helping to establish clinics and schools for the producers and their families. Fairtrade certification has allowed investment in a potable water system and improvements in production through rehabilitating older farms.
